Joe Manchin - Here is Your Answer
Joe, since you lack the ability to form independent thoughts and ideas, I have done the homework for you. Here is how you can fix our state. Or are you going to get Heil Blankenship's permission first? You nimrod.
1. Cease work on TrAIL
2. Deny the Potomac Appalachian Transmission Highline (since these are costing WV residents money and wrecking our land) and prohibit them from taking private land and cutting a scar through 280 miles of our state.
3. Cease mountaintop removal (MTR). Keep the mining underground. MTR relies mainly on mechanization (in case this word is too many syllables for you Joe...it means that more jobs are done by machinery than men). Keeping mining underground will provide coal jobs for MEN and also save our scenery..which can be capitalized on for tourism ....(like other states who have governors who actually have brains have realized..and therefore create industry that employs people AND capitalizes on the beauty of the state). This will bring in additional revenue in addition to the underground coal mining jobs. Coal miners are happy, environmentalists are happy, more money for everyone.....(are you understanding this joe or are you sitting there with that permanent glazed look in your eyes that we have all been accustomed to seeing on you?). With your current plan..our state will be destroyed. It already has one of the lowest socioeconomic rankings in the US. So please stop your blithering about how coal is strong. Our people have no money. All of the coal is owned by foreign entities (like Russia) or out of state entities..the money goes there..not to WV. If coal is so wealthy for WV...can you explain why we are so poor?
4. Redistribute the Coal Severance Tax. This means more money for the coal communities CLICK HERE
5. Kick out Massey Energy and bring in the Union so that our miners can have more pay AND safer mines. Heil Blankenship and Massey probably won't like this idea..so you will have to be strong joe....can you do it? Or is he in control of you?
